Good & Bad

Okay I have some good news, and some bad news.

I will tell you the bad news first. I lost my wedding ring.
I know, I only cried for 5 hours straight it. I am absolutely heart broken.
 This is what happened.

I was at work (dental office) and I had forgotten to take off my ring before work so I just put it in my scrubs pocket, along with my mask and gloves.
Throughout my shift I empty my pockets in the garbage so I don't have too much in there.
Later that night, and the end of my shift I reach in my pocket to grab my ring to put back on my finger and it wasn't there.
My worst nightmare had some true and I went straight to panic mode.
I went through every trash can in that office at least 5 times, and I could not find it anywhere.
I had no idea what to do.
I lost all hope and just went and got into my car, called my mom, and just cried on the phone to her. She calmed me down and helped me remember that at least I still had Chad,
and that rings are only a symbol, it wasn't what was most important in our marriage.
Which reminded me,
I have to tell Chad that I lost my wedding ring!

I sent him a text  saying, "I have bad news."
And knowing Chad when he reads that he is expecting the absolute
worst thing that could ever happen.
He called after he got off work and said, "What?! Are you okay? What's the bad news?"
I just told him I would tell him when he got home.
He rushed through the door and said really loud,

"I don't care if you are pregnant!"

I looked up at him and just laughed!  Then I started crying again and told him I lost my wedding ring. He looked relieved and came over to cuddle me and said,

"oh phew, I thought it was something bad."

I felt pretty lucky right then to know that he didn't care that had
lost my ring he was just worried about me. Which really helped me forget about loosing my ring
 for a few minutes.

Okay I bet you are wondering what the good news is, well luckily we had insurance on my ring. So they helped us get a new  ring, and I feel like I just got engaged again
because I can't stop looking at it.

Also, I still have my wedding band, which is so good!
But It still breaks my heart that I lost my ring.
Moral of the story, make sure you have insurance on your ring.
